Licence for radio equipment onboard a commercial sea-going vessel
The licence authorises the use of radiocommunications equipment onboard a commercial sea-going vessel. It includes in particular equipment which transmits on VHF and on medium or short wave bands. OFCOM awards licences for all vessels registered in Switzerland.

according to the time expended on the issue of the licence (generally ~24 minutes), at the rate of CHF 210 / hour.

Further information
"Radiocommunication equipment" is understood as fixed and portable equipment operating on VHF, equipment operating on hectometric wave and short wave, Inmarsat equipment, AIS equipment and transponders, NAVTEX receivers, radar equipment, emergency position indicating radio beacons (EPIRB) and search and rescue radar transponders (SART).
