ICDs (International Code Designator) designate the format of an NSAP address which gives access to a multinational open systems interconnection (OSI) network.

OFCOM operates a highly restrictive policy on ICD registration.
As a result it is not possible to submit registration applications online.

OFCOM is the sponsoring authority for registration of an ICD.
If the application meets the required conditions, OFCOM forwards it to the international body responsible for allocation.
